The author explores body deformation and trauma through a collection of objects. This collection is a small archive of traumatic events where material and memory come together. Matter is characterized by change: resist, adapt, wear, deform. This is how incidents are saved, and their effects outlive their causes. The objects are like fossils, a result of traumatic events and fragments of damaged bodies. As an archaeologist, the artist collects strange artifacts and tries to reconstruct the history of those objects.
