The subject of this work is the potential destruction of our civilization that, in the context of this work, would be affirmed by contact with a higher life form. How would a being with higher intelligence, ruled out vices and more developed conscience feel about the life on earth? The geopolitical situation, including the war in Ukraine, climate change, the chaos caused by the pandemic, social and material inequality as well as the disappointment caused by injustice and evil that can be witnessed within our society leads the artist to believe that our world is not stable or prosperous, but rather is warning us about the ancient truth – “you reap what you sow”. This work participates in the fifth Art Academy Diploma Candidate exhibitio (open from June 9 to July 2, 2023).
