Mass production, poor quality, low artistic value — they’re all cheap and identical. But in that cloning process, as manufacturers strive to produce goods with minimal effort, flaws creep in among the lifeless uniformity. A (mis)step that lends character and uniqueness to a soulless form. Dots applied in the wrong places, allowing the viewer to identify with them, to notice expression and emotion in unplanned details.
