Established in 1960, Artists’ Association Gallery Vilnius is the oldest non-state gallery in Lithuania that represents the work of both local and foreign, acknowledged and emerging professional artists. The Gallery operates in two exhibition halls in the heart of Vilnius City – the Artists’ Association Gallery (2 Vokiečių St) and Pamėnkalnio Gallery (1 Pamėnkalnio St). Over thirty solo and group exhibitions of visual art are organised here every year.
The Gallery has been also initiating and implementing artistic, social and educational projects in Lithuania and abroad, taking part in art fairs and auctions, publishing books, and selling works of art. For nearly six decades, Artists’ Association Gallery has remained the best place to purchase works and souvenirs created by Lithuanian artists.
The Gallery aims to act dynamically in the field of modern and contemporary art, to promote the work of professional artists, curators and art critics, and to stimulate artistic processes both locally and internationally.
