X-PORTEN opened on 8 May 2009 in the old O.V. Fiskeksport's building at Ndr. Beddingsvej 39, Hundested Havn. The name was chosen out of respect for history and the backward, but at the same time the X points forward towards the unknown factor and the surprising moment. The intention is that X-PORTEN, with changing offers in the form of exhibitions and events of a cultural nature, will contribute to an active and vibrant port environment for the joy and benefit of the port, tourists and the city's citizens. The house is owned by Hundested Havn.
