Graphics Meets Photography!
On August 15th at 18:00 PUNCTUM gallery is opening Dana Cojbuc's solo exhibition YGGDRASIL in the presence of the Artist.
The event will begin with a Performance, followed by an Artist Talk.
After a number of successful exhibitions across Europe, we at PUNCTUM are honored to present the YGGDRASIL project for its final showing.
The project was born during Dana’s residency on the Norwegian island of Halsnøy in 2019. Inspired by Norwegian nature and Scandinavian mythology, Dana Cojbuc creates worlds at the intersection of photography and graphics. She photographs the forest and later extends and reimagines it through drawing. Dana Cojbuc lives and works in Paris. She graduated from the University of Arts in Bucharest in 2003 (Photography). Dana’s artistic experiments are fueled by a constant interest not only in photography, but also in sculpture, painting, drawing, and video. The artist’s works are featured in museums and private collections. Exhibition will be on show until September 22nd. Every Thursday to Friday 13 – 19, Saturday to Sunday 14 – 18.
