There was the rustle of a single bedsheet.
Once upon a time there was a sound, a single sound. There was once a soft voice, once there was a hard heart. There was a noise once. Once there was hush, there was silence, there was a quiet hush.
There was once the ocean. There was once a wiggle, a wobble, a ripple. There was once time, space and life. There was once light and heat. There was once sun and shadow. There was once the world of living things, the world of plants and animals. There was once fire, water, air and time. There was once an aeon and a universe. There was once the universe screaming. There was once an entire universe, a time and a song.
There was once love, was a soft, warm mouth. There was once a deep black pond, a black abyss. There was once a sound, was the soft sound of a body. Once there was a thunder. Once there was a roar. Once there was a gentle softness. Once there was a hush, a hush hush. Once there was a sound, was the rustle, was the sound of feet.
Once there was an echo, once there was a song. Once there was a black night, there was a moon. There was once a body that was made by hands. There once was an ebb and flow, a sea of no-noise. Once there was a wave of no-noise, of stillness, of silence, of white noise. There was once the black moon of infinity, the black sun of space, the black hole of the universe.
