Two million people in Sweden have manual labor. People who work with their bodies are rarely seen and heard in today's media, in museums and in our public spaces. This exhibition wants to change that.
In the exhibition, we meet 33 workers, with different backgrounds, experiences and ages, who talk about their work. Stories of unsafe working conditions, lack of respect and unsustainable structures. But also about organization, pride, working community and the feeling of being important to society.
Without the manual workers, Sweden will stop.
