Elsted Church’s Art Committee invites you to a vernissage at the spring art exhibition “The Watcher” by the painter René Fuhlendorff in Elsted Sognegård.
Under the heading “The Watcher”, Fuhlendorff talks about himself and the exhibition:
“Half of my life I have spent painting, but in reality I never take time off: I constantly observe, photograph everything between heaven and earth and constantly get new ideas. I paint with my subconscious and the best pictures are actually those that makes himself. You can probably find a common thread in my pictures, but it’s not something I strive for and yet, you can’t run away from your handwriting.”
There is a vernissage with musical entertainment on Sunday 23 April 2023 approx. at 12.15-2.15 in Elsted Parish, Elsted Kirkeplads 1, 8520 Lystrup.
The varnishing is an extension of Sunday’s service, and the usual church coffee will be replaced on this day by a small treat in the parish garden. the opening of the exhibition.
