The exhibition doesn’t attempt to offer an overview of all of Estonian art in the 1990s but focuses on certain artists and presents viewers with works from the collections of the Tartu Art Museum and the Art Museum of Estonia that have been neglected in recent decades. A yearning for tenacious and unrefined art prompted the curators to find additional artists whose works are still untamed in one way or another.
