What makes one yearn for faraway places? Exploring the travels of artist Akseli Gallen-Kallela (1865–1931), this exhibition transports the audience from 1880s Tyrvää to 1920s New Mexico, inviting us to reflect upon our relationship with travelling, mobility, and the experiences it affords us. The exploration is brought to life through contemporary art and soundscapes.
