Tiina Forsman: Summer Nights

I paint with oil colors both on canvas and mdf board. The painting base is important in how my background idea for a new painting is created. The paintings feature people and animals in different situations, and the moods change with the situations. The painting process progresses slowly, sometimes not at all. When making paintings, different ways of communication emerge, the importance of animals as an interpreter of emotions, dialogue, understanding in general what one wants to say, or how something should be when you make it as a picture.
