We brought works by Marina Shkarupa, Anatoly Varvarov, Igor Prokofiev, and Aleksandr Mikhalchuk to the 2014 nude exhibition, and we took the best gems of our art collection to Ukrainians to see in a palace in the heart of Kiev on St. Sophia Square. Ukrainian artists have been guests of the nude exhibition Man and Woman every summer. We have acquired at least one masterpiece from each author for our art collection. We are especially proud of the ethnographic paintings of the Ukrainian naive artist Vadym Ishchenko, which were born from various folk songs. We are also grateful to Marina Shkarupa, who has transferred almost the entire community of Manija Island to the canvas as portraits.
So what is the SPIRIT OF UKRAINE? I believe that every art lover can see it with their own eyes here and share it with those who have less contact with fine arts.
The exhibition will feature: Vadym Ishchenko, Oleg Kharch, Igor Prokofiev, Aleksander Mikhalchuk, Marina Shkarupa, Ed Potapenkov, Anatoli Varvarov (Ukraine).
