In one part of the exhibition, we take an in-depth look at Prince Eugen as a designer of the Waldemarsudde flowerpot, as well as of chairs and jewelry, and also present his acquisitions of furniture and fine art objects for his beautiful home at Waldemarsudde. In another part of the exhibition, the Prince is reinstated in his former studio, in a pleasure-filled presentation of paintings and sketches for easel paintings as well as for the monumental work Staden vid vattnet (The City by the Water) in the Stockholm City Hall. On show on the top floor, you will also find a selection of the Prince’s significant collection of paintings by Swedish, other Scandinavian and French artists.
