The exhibition sheds new light on a beloved and often underestimated vehicle – the moped. Visit a fascinating world where form, function and Swedish cultural history meet in an innovative and exciting combination. Iconic models meet here, design sketches with stories about the moped as a cultural and social engine in the Swedish people’s home building.
The moped has, until now, been mostly regarded as an object of nostalgia and a side track, disconnected from form-historical reflections and analyses. But few other phenomena in Swedish contemporary history carry such a strong story – about form, youth culture and a spirit of the times marked by a slightly incomprehensible optimism.
Come and experience the moped in a way you have never done before. Welcome!
