Simonas Kuliešis „Catch endOR release“

Simonas Kuliešis (b. 1987) – painter, lecturer at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts with a master’s degree. The author has organized 14 solo exhibitions (Austria, the Netherlands, Finland, Germany, Lithuania) and participated in over 30 group exhibitions (Poland, the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Lithuania). Simonas Kuliešis has initiated the SHCH / ŠČ gallery (artist-run space), which allows for experimentation, finding new solutions and is designed to promote the dissemination and support of artists. Simonas is currently teaching at the Graphics Department of the Vilnius Academy of Arts. The painter’s works belong to the MO Museum, private collections.
