“Hommage” was an exhibition in the gallery of St. John’s Church in Tallinn in 2019. When designing and planning the exhibition for some reason, reflections on life and creation made me remember past times and people,of whom I have modeled the portrait. All of them had agreed to contribute their time to I could do my job. They had trusted me to do something that the result did not need even like. “Hommage” is an expression of gratitude and respect to the model. In this bygone era of course there is nostalgia in memories.
