In both, the visual language and the materials used, the artist is drawn to the beauty of simplicity. In this case, the work is executed using only layers of black and white tonal scale. Content is translated into geometric shapes, lines and rhythms that reflect harmony within the spatial experience. An important part is the slow and repetitive process of creation symbolising continuous growth and movement whilst providing a practice for persistence.
