ROGER SVENSSON - Plötsligheten gnäggar

Not a day goes by without a brush stroke for Roger. A painting is like life in general, it carries a flow of constant change and is created from different layers of previous life and movement. He is represented in a number of art museums, the Skissernas art museum in Lund, the Gothenburg art museum, the National Art Council and several regions and municipalities in Sweden.

Roger Svensson brings joy with his oil paintings. The grant is abstract, colorful and seemingly extremely spontaneous. But it is at the same time securely composed, both in form and colour, and the strong shades stand in effective contrast to each other. The images give a kick, a feeling of warmth and well-being that is hard to resist. It is often reinforced by the pragmatic subtlety of the titles. (Thomas Lissing)
