On the middle floor of the castle building, a collection presentation focusing on art on paper is shown. Never before have the museum's works on paper been shown to such a high extent. The presentation highlights the breadth and diversity of the collection's drawings, graphics and art on paper in other techniques.

Famous and lesser-known works by Scandinavian and French artists are shown, such as Camille Corot, Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse, Anders Zorn, Edvard Munch, Hanna Hirsch-Pauli, Ernst Norlind, Isaac Grünewald, Eric Hallström, Harald Sallberg and Olle Olsson Hagalund. The presentation spans a period of time from approx. 1850 to the middle of the 20th century. Colored woodcuts by the 19th-century Japanese artist Ando Hiroshige are also presented.
