Helle Lõhmus:
Helle Lõhmus is a painter based in Tartu, engaged in painting, drawing, graphics, and sculpture. She graduated in painting and arts and technology education from the University of Tartu. She is a member of the Estonian Artists’ Union, Estonian Painters’ Union, and NAS.
Her works have been exhibited in group exhibitions both in Estonia and abroad, and she has had several solo exhibitions. She was awarded the Second Prize at the 10th Lesedra International Painting & Mixed Media Competition in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2018-2019. Her art can be found in collections such as The Osten Museum of Drawing in Skopje and The Lessedra Art Gallery in Bulgaria, as well as in private collections in Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Belgium, and the USA.
Triin Kristerson:
Triin Kristerson graduated from the Higher Art School Pallas with a focus on painting. She holds a master’s degree in art education from the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy. Triin connects figures with nature in her works, presenting narratives to stimulate the viewer’s imagination and fantasy. The world of visions, experienced emotions, pain, and joy compel the artist to create with passion. Her painting style is lively and free, with a color palette that varies according to mood.
She has participated in exhibitions since 2017 and joined the Estonian Painters’ Union in 2023.
Maret Suurmets Kuura:
Maret Suurmets Kuura graduated from the University of Tartu with a degree in painting and a master’s degree in art education. The artist loves to paint with strong, vibrant colors, exploring the interactions, communication, and play between colors. It’s amazing how colors tell their own stories on the canvas, creating new and dynamic compositions. The richness and strength of colors bring a new charge. Colors speak, make us listen, and provoke thoughts. Colors can evoke sadness but also provide positive energy.
She has participated in exhibitions since 2000, showcasing her work in numerous group exhibitions and organizing over 30 solo exhibitions. She joined the Tartu Artists’ Union in 2006 and the Estonian Painters’ Union in 2009.
Kadri Jürimaa:
Since 2021, Kadri Jürimaa holds a master’s degree in arts and technology education from the University of Tartu. In 2022-2023, she furthered her studies at the Estonian Academy of Arts, earning a microdegree in Design in Education and Educational Design. She works as a technology and art teacher at Puhja School.
Kadri enjoys observing nature and incorporating it into her artworks. Experimenting with colors and translating her vision onto the canvas is an exciting process that requires time but provides a significant amount of positive energy. She has been participating in exhibitions since 2017.
