The Origins of Violence is a film that dives into the world of emotions and sensations, where the viewer gets to examine what it feels like to lose control of their own body. The film follows a young French couple whose discussion about their future together is unexpectedly interrupted by the intervention of the police. One of the main characters is detained for a routine identity check, and the flow of emotions and thoughts arising from the situation is depicted in a multi-gestural manner with the help of special effects.
