Mirjam Hinn (1990) has graduated from University of Tartu, Department of Painting (MA, 2018), Tartu Higher Art School (BA, 2014). She has participated in numerous joint and personal exhibitions since 2011, first in Estonia and then also in Finland, Lithuania, Belarus, Italy and Germany
In a work of a painter with a dynamic and abstract visual language, the color palette and clean color surfaces contrasted with surfaces that shimmer in brushstrokes have become recognizable. Bright and sometimes unearthly artificial tones, which actually glow, have become the supporting accent of her work.
Hinn’s work can be found in several private collections in Estonia and in the collection of the Tartu Art Museum. She ́s been awarded with the AkzoNobel Art Award 2018, Young Tartu 2019 and nominated for the Konrad Mägi Award 2020. She is a member of Estonian Artists’ Association and Estonian Painters’ Association.
