The 3-year project by visual artist and art educator Virpi Timonen brought visual art education to kindergartens around South Ostrobothnia. The aim was to provide the children and child-care professionals with visual art activities and art education workshops under the instruction of a professional visual artist. The exhibition at Vintti presents the artistic outcomes of the project, created in collaboration between Virpi Timonen, the children and the child-care professionals working in kindergartens. The exhibition presents for example animals of the future and their hopes and dreams, nest boxes suitable for different animals and houses of the future – all designed by children.
