The author of the photos, Kalmer Lehepuu, has been taking pictures for about 15 years. He has been taking pictures of his father Aare for the same amount of time. Aare has three children, five grandchildren and a cat. He lives in the countryside, in a small house by the forest. He is a completely normal guy who always wears a T-shirt and has always had a mustache.
Kalmer says: “I have one father, but hundreds of pictures of him. I have been photographing his daily activities for about 15 years, but in retrospect the pictures still seem few. Most are very honest pictures, some are portraits and there are also photo productions. Moments that are ordinary when photographed will seem special years later. The only way to stop time is to take pictures or film.”
We dedicate this exhibition to all fathers.
