In my works, the elements of nature have an effect in spaces built by people, and on the other hand, objects and things created by people in nature. My art is all about boundaries. One interface is therefore the interface between a regulated society established by humans and natural life. Ultimately, however, the work is created in the viewing experience at the interface between the work and the viewer.
I recognize features belonging to the language of surrealism in the appearance of my works, although I do not necessarily consider myself a surrealist. Traditionally, surrealism has been thought to be about examining the human mind. In my opinion, however, surrealism is about the outside of the mind, objects – with man being one of the objects – and meeting these objects and their interaction with the world.
