Over the last years, there has been an opportunity to take stock and to organise the objects and phenomena that have accumulated around her. Trompe-l’oeil-style cabinets of curiosity are perfect for creating systems.
However, the results are deceptive: objects are regularly compartmentalised by topic, the world is organised, on a shelf, in a closet, in place and under control, but on closer inspection the created systems are strange and distorted. The sizes don’t fit, some things do not really exist or are in the wrong category. It is a failed attempt to restore order from chaos. The possible and the impossible meet in the Deposits of Time.
