In an extensive retrospective that stretches through the Art Academy's three halls, Lena Cronqvist shows six decades of creation. The exhibition, consisting of paintings, drawings, graphics and sculpture, consists mostly of the artist's private holdings and spans from the early production of the 1960s until 2020. Lena Cronqvist, born in 1938 in Karlstad, lives and works in Stockholm and at Koster. She received her artistic education at Konstfack 1958-59 and at the Academy of Arts 1959-1964. Her artistry is richly represented at institutions around Sweden and abroad, and she early assumed a central role as an innovator of painting and its conventions.
