About the completion of Kristi Kangilaski’s exhibition: “One exhibition grew out of another and the name changed according to the exhibitions’ favorite works. It’s an extremely colorful series, for which there is no excuse. Like the exhibition, the paintings are completed as a chain reaction. By focusing on one, the next canvas was colored and so on and so forth.
Like the exhibition I think I’m most interested in finding the right balance in painting. Both in terms of composition and color. And there are a million elements to represent. It’s an exciting game.”
