"Kept in a person" is a staged installation, within the framework of which an idea is made to sprout, which can be fed with everything that something that is born into this world should know and experience. A growing idea is safe and warm in the gallery. Like in the mother's womb. The audience can influence the idea throughout its development period, visit it in the EKA Gallery, participate in tours analyzing the situation and virtual ultrasound examinations, see traces of the interventions of other viewers.
In this work, the authors explore the mechanisms of meaning formation and responsibility taking in a temporary community, using the example of a collective artwork. The authors build an imaginary tunnel, like an umbilical cord, between the virtual and the real, where, as the art fog dissipates, everyone can meet, regardless of your geographical location or your relationship to “reality”.
