Johanna Naukkarinen (born 1988, Kuopio) is a photo artist from Northern Savonia living in Turku who works with medical historical themes. Naukkarinen graduated as a photo artist from the Academy of Arts of Turku Academy of Arts and a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Turku, majoring in media studies. His solo exhibitions dealing with hysteria have been seen in e.g. In the Turku Art Museum’s Studio and Gallery Huudo. The Anatomical Venus exhibition has previously been seen at Yö Galleria and Galleria Rajatila. Naukkarinen’s works are in the collections of the Turku Art Museum and the City of Turku.
