„I’ve been here before” deals with feelings such as homesickness, thirst for adventure and nostalgia. How to find a resting spot in an unknown place? The exhibition consists of paintings and installative objects that encourage a curious and playful experience of the space.
Maris Paal has graduated from the Painting Department of Pallas University of Applied Sciences and is currently studying for a master’s degree in the Contemporary Art program at the Estonian Academy of Arts. Her latest bigger exhibitions were in 2020 in Tartu Art House and in 2022 in Põhjala Factory together with Brita Maripuu.
„I’ve been here before” is open until January 27, from Tuesday until Friday from 1pm until 6pm.
The exhibition is supported by the Estonian Cultural Endowment.
