On 13 August at 5 PM, the project room of gallery Pallas will open the interdisciplinary spatial installation “Livingroom”. The author of the exhibition, Kadri Eliise Eensaar, a student in the department of leather design at Pallas University of Applied Sciences, will treat visitors at the opening to a performance entitled “Freedom”.
The immersive “Livingroom” invites visitors into an environment that is at once primeval and timeless, safe and mysterious. The artist poetically describes the essence of the exhibition:
“Primordiality. Time that reaches to the roots of moss.
Moss roots that stretch into the cosmos.
The cosmos that reaches into the senses.
The mind that extends beyond time.
Time that reaches nowhere.
What do we let go of, and what do we hold on to?
A strange cave – did it awaken to life here, or did someone live here?
The freedom to be born and the freedom to die.
Nature welcomes you in all states of mind, offers acceptance and a womb – the safe womb of Mother Nature.
Primordiality, symbiosis, complete trust – that which nature sets as an example for us.”
The mystical symbiosis of “Livingroom” will remain open until September 13.
