Step into Claude Monet's fantastic world and let yourself be overwhelmed by the timeless works projected on the walls and floor in Artipelag's event hall Artboxen. Imagine Monet brings the artworks to life using state-of-the-art technology along with music. Imagine Monet opens with the classic painting Impression, soleil levant (1872) and ends with the well-known water lily series.
Imagine Monet
Claude Monet was born in Paris in 1840 and became one of the foremost representatives of Impressionism. Through his effort to reproduce his personal perception of the world around him, Monet contributed to the creation of a completely new stylistic direction in art. In this deep dive into Monet’s universe, Imagine Monet removes the frames and allows you as a visitor to experience the works in a completely new way.
About Imagine Monet
Today, Monet’s physical works are exhibited in various museums and galleries around the world. Imagine Monet wants to reunite the famous series and works in a unique exhibition set to music.
This is the third project created by Annabelle Mauger and Julien Baron in collaboration with art historian Androula Michael. After the success of Imagine Van Gogh and Imagine Picasso, this exhibition is their latest production.Imagine Monet, Artipelag Box, ©Encore Productions – Laurence Labat – ImagineMonet_2021_2023
