Since human activity has globally affected the earth’s climate and ecosystems, including through global warming. Through careful craftsmanship, a feeling for nuances and lighting, and with a muted palette that gives a sense of melancholy, Blomqvist creates her scenographies, which then play the main role in her photographs. – My photographs give expression to an existential condition, a search, an insight that our time on earth is limited, says Helena herself.
