Helen Bunder (born March 31, 1991 in Tartu) is an Estonian painter and art teacher. She graduated from Tartu Art School in 2011 with a degree in design graphics and in 2014 from the University of Tartu with a degree in painting. In 2016, she completed her master’s studies at the University of Tartu as a teacher of arts, crafts and home economics.
Since 2016, she has been teaching general art and specialty subjects (drawing, painting, composition, pictography, illustration) at the Tartu Art School and also works as a team coach.
She has been a member of the Tartu Artists’ Union since 2021.
Painting is a natural part of Helen’s life. From a very young age, she was almost daily involved in painting, drawing and crafting. Her paintings express questions, reflections and experiences in her personal life. In addition to painting, Helen is also a passionate drawing artist.
