Hanne Tyrmi Horses Die Standing | NOBA Nordic Baltic contemporary art platform

In January 2022, a separate exhibition with works by the Norwegian artist Hanne Tyrmi opens its doors. The exhibition called Horses Die Standing is shown in all exhibition rooms at Kunstnernes Hus and consists almost exclusively of new works - mainly three-dimensional works and installations.

Hanne Tyrmi (b. 1954) graduated from the Norwegian School of Crafts and Design in Oslo (1981–85). Amongst others, she has had separate exhibitions at Haugar Art Museum in 2014 and Kunstnerforbundet in 2016. Tyrmi has also had several international exhibitions, including at the Museu de Arte Moderna in São Paulo. The artist’s works have been acquired by a number of renowned collections and she has carried out many public art projects.
