The interest in people, form, communication and composition opened the door for me to the world of fashion. A world that was foreign to me at the time, which turned out to be playful, quick in energy and with high ceilings. It was about collaboration and making someone’s vision a reality. It was about communication, both with the person in front of me and by extension to the world outside. Fashion photography opened a place to create freely from the imagination and with it a way to keep the inner child alive.
For me, the meeting with people is central and the energy that arises is also what is reflected in my images. Without presence and honesty, that energy does not arise. I look at fashion with playfulness, humor and am drawn to images that feel authentic. For me, everything is about a feeling, and I want the person I photograph to feel alive, natural and natural. Maybe I am photographing the person I myself want to be?
In this exhibition, I show works taken from completely different contexts, which here can stand on their own. What they have in common is that they are all moments that arose from a more or less planned basic idea. It’s the image between images, the one that only happens when true energy arises and the camera is there capturing the moment.
