A unique opportunity to get acquainted with a part of the collection of 160 paintings compiled from 42 African countries in 2017-19, of which Markku Valkonen, the grand old man of art, states: "The largest collection of contemporary African art in Finland". The exhibition is curated by Markku Valkonen and Ilkka Pitkänen.

The paintings are not for sale, but it is possible to buy numbered poster prints and postcards from the exhibition. Part of the proceeds will be channeled to African artists.
A lottery will be held during the exhibition, choose the three most interesting works in your opinion, and numbered posters will be drawn among the respondents at the end of the exhibition.
