When thinking about a new theme for the annual exhibition of the Estonian Textile Artists’ Association, we focused on what is important in life. What is important FOR life?
Life has been full of changes in recent years. Sometimes changes invoke restlessness. On the other hand, changes allow us to rethink what is important. When everything is in movement, it is essential that people need assets, knowledge and skills to help us stay in place.
What is most important in life? What kind of assets bring us peace of soul? Which activities give edification mentally and physically? What helps people to rediscover themselves? Or nature and environment? What are the values that anchor us during the time of change?
