On May 9, 2026, the same day the Venice Art Biennale opens its doors, so will the new MIGA gallery building. Exhibition is open from May 10 to July 26, 2026 Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 18:00
For MIGA’s first exhibition Sandra Jõgeva will present her audience with a critical and sharp look behind the scenes of the art world, into its invisible hierarchies and power dynamics that influence both the role of the artist and the way the creative field functions more broadly.
The exhibition asks important questions like: Who makes the decisions? How are the rules created? And how much freedom does an artist really have within a system where unseen structures shape what we eventually see? Through both personal experience and wider social reflection, Sandra Jõgeva brings normally hidden layers out into the open, sometimes in ways that may feel direct or even uncomfortable.
Please note: MIGA gallery is only 36 m² and can hold up to 8 visitors at a time. We recommend buying tickets in advance to secure your preferred time. Each ticket is valid for one hour as indicated on your ticket. Please arrive on time so everyone can enjoy the exhibition comfortably.
