Look at the details in the picture, says Piho. His paintings have clean lines, defined forms, precise execution, carefully modulated colour gamma. These technical means, in their diversity, create the tension in the picture. The overall impression describes a person in their moment of movement, or playfulness, while the dynamics of the image are entirely static. It is a perfect philosophical moment.
The artworks are mostly created in the current year. However, the core of the exhibition is spontaneous. The composition and matching happens in the gallery – it is based on the space and the fit between the paintings. The overall impact is important.
The exhibition is the fifth in the ”Choice” series which started last year.
