The artist notes that the idea to do something about the nature and significance of home came to her almost three years ago, when the meaningful side of its nature changed several times over the years. Luhamets explains: “At first, we were all locked in our homes, talking about how difficult and stressful it is to be between four walls all the time. Now the home has more comforting and valuable context, we are grateful that we have a special place for peace of mind, without having to run away from it or feel afraid.”
The basis of all our existence is life and the circumstances created by its passage through time. We shape circumstances whether we want to or not. When we decide and choose, we shape. When we fail to decide or choose, we also shape.
