“Emotion. Pain. Illusion.
Either you feed on or you can finally let go.
Now the Best Before has passed.
Miscarriages, babies dying in the Belly – how much does it hurt, how does it affect the course of ones life going forward, is it even possible to get over it?
Pouring it into creation, giving it another form other than just in your head spinning and your heart crying, is one of the ways to heal the pain.
My “Children of Silence” installation is a part of my bedroom, possibly inspired by Jaanus Samma’s chandelier. Every time a person died in the world, it gave a sound. When I saw this chandelier, I immediately imagined it in my bedroom, so that the reality would be present all the time.
Now I have babies floating between Heaven and Earth, a soothing glow of morning dew drops.”
For the exhibition, the artist has asked different women to write about their experience, feelings, recovery and the support by men in the same situation.
Billeneeve is a member of the Estonian Artists’ Association. 51% seto, the rest is something else. Born in a farm with 100 horned heads. She has been involved with the spirituality of animals as well as humans from an early age! The essence of her is something so modern and spooky that only this terrible era can do. All and nothing!
Billeneeve creates Seto folk costumes in the key of contemporary art. Her wintry art incorporates silence, dance, images and texts about life, which is very important to her! As well as white chicken!
