It was Friday, June 30, 1978, and Bob Marley & The Wailers played their third concert at Gröna Lund.
Just below the edge of the stage, between the musicians and the sea of audience, I stood with my camera and pointed the viewfinder persistently at Bob and the other musicians.
No guards or PR agents disturbed me in my photography. I could stand there and film the whole concert.
There were two rolls of Tri-X, with many good pictures.
But then there wasn’t much more. My days were filled with many and more mundane tasks. The negatives ended up sitting in a binder. Until now, 46 years later.
Here at Galleri Sander /NP33, it is the world premiere of my photos of Bob Marley & The Wailer’s magical concert at Grönan. The penultimate band did in Stockholm.”
