Baldur Bragason, originally from Iceland but now living in Borås, is a multifaceted photographer with a long, international career in photography. He is a self-proclaimed technology geek within the technical side of photography and has his own and obvious expression in his work. Over the years, Baldur has photographed fashion, politicians, musicians and also photos used in the film industry. Many of our most famous series and films such as "Beck", "Bron", "The girl with the dragon tattoo", "Wallander", "Thieves' Christmas" and "The 100-year-old who stepped out of a window and disappeared" have posters with his photograph.
The exhibition allows us to meet people that Baldur has photographed over the years, famous people and lesser known people, but always with his unique perspective. He also shows the photograph behind the film poster, the often tone-setting or enticing photograph that we recognize so well but which without the film’s title gets to stand in the spotlight.
