A brilliant and elegant harmony of ball bearings and a symphony of cylinders, an insight in the middle of a futuristic fantasy city growing block by block – for the first time, Arne Maasik will install his new version of geometric machine aesthetics in real time directly in front of the audience at Tallinn Design Festival in the Krulli Quarter. On December 5th, the installation will move to the satellite exhibition in the lobby of the Maakri Quarter.
The first version of “Insight” has previously been exhibited at the ARS showroom, while similar installation “Still Life” at the Kadriorg Art Museum. Photographs created about the previous installations are on display in both the Krulli and Maakri Quarters as well as in noba.ac art platform: https://noba.ac/et/kunstnik/arne-maasik/
