The mutability of nature reflects so well the condition of the human, the journeys we take and the life of the individual. It is not by accident that flowers play a part in all important aspects of a person’s life: when a baby is born, when a parent dies, or when we marry. They are a metaphor for love and passion. Yet flowers are exemplified most of all by their fragility – wilting so quickly until its life becomes a memory of the past. This exhibition represents fragments of memories, broken dreams, heartbreak, and the new life that blooms only once something else ends.
