A LOT of us have danced in the trolls’ halls and now we act as shapeshifters. We try to develop ways of making, building and living that do not come at the expense of the planet we are all a part of. We turn to more or less overlooked crafts and materials to remind us of methods that have fallen into oblivion and to grasp what we do not yet know. We try to increase understanding of where different materials come from and create relationships with the material instead of using it casually. We borrow from the forest, when we have finished farming we can put it back again. Trash becomes treasures, becomes new life. Can we create everything that is needed in the same way, by “borrowing”, not consuming?
