On July 11 at 5 PM, Marko Mäetamm’s anniversary exhibition “A Journey into the Unknown” will open at the Võrumaa Museum Gallery.
The exhibition in Võru showcases some of the most outstanding and significant works from the artist’s thirty-year career, offering a comprehensive overview of his diverse creative periods. The selected pieces range from drawings and paintings to animation, video and installation art, comics, and small-scale sculptures — often forming cohesive narrative worlds.
Part of the exhibition will be created on-site at the Võrumaa Museum: Mäetamm will draw and write texts inspired by the history of Võrumaa. The exhibition installation also extends beyond the museum building, reaching into the public space and appearing on park benches.
